A Christmas Carol

“Are these the shadows of the things that Will be, or are they shadows of things that May be, only?”

Available from late November to December each year.

Expertly adapted to last for 60 minutes, AlterEgo’s ‘A Christmas Carol’ is an ideal opportunity for your students to see Dickens’ timeless tale of greed, ghostly going-ons, frugality and forgiveness.

A cast of four professional actors will set up in your school hall or theatre and, using traditional costumes, will bring the story to life.

Following the performance the cast will run a 30 minute long post-how talk examining plot, themes, language, historical context and the author’s intentions.

Shows can be booked for a morning or afternoon slot, are performed ‘Thrust’ (on three sides) and we can accommodate entire year groups in each performance.  If having a ‘Thrust’ layout is not possible then we are more than happy to perform the play ‘End On’.  Whatever works best for you!
