Romeo & Juliet

“For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Juliet and her Romeo”

Available from January to April and then September to November each year.

Expertly adapted to last for 60 minutes, AlterEgo’s ‘Romeo & Juliet’ is an ideal opportunity for your students to see Shakespeare’s tale of fights, feuds and star-crossed lover.

A cast of four professional actors will set up in your school hall or theatre and, using traditional costumes and the original (abridged) text, will bring the play life.

Following the performance the cast will run a 30 minute long post-how talk examining plot, themes, language, historical context and the author’s intentions.

Shows can be booked for a morning or afternoon slot, are performed ‘Thrust’ (on three sides) and we can accommodate entire year groups in each performance.  If having a ‘Thrust’ layout is not possible then we are more than happy to perform the play ‘End On’.  Whatever works best for you!
